Huy, hello. This page is all about me. Ha. Haha.

To describe myself shortly: I have the social skills of a teaspoon and I enjoy a lot of stuff.

To elaborate on that: Hey, my name is Mara and I live in the Netherlands, near the capital city. As you probably noticed, I enjoy a lot of tv shows. That, and books. One can never have enough books.
I am, as stated above, socially awkward and introverted on top of that. Or the social awkwardness comes on top of the introvert, I don’t know. In any case, I do try to function as a “normal” human being, despite my social anxiety.
I recently turned 17, which means I still have a lot of time to catch up with a lot of stuff. Kind of, anyway. I started early with being a fangirl. 

I like a lot of random music, mostly in the classical or celtic spheres. It also really depends on my mood. Sometimes I’m all in for happy bouncy music, while the next day I want to listen to shit that is as dark as my soul.

Umm, looking at what TV shows and stuff I watch probably already gives you kind of an idea what genres I like. If you guessed fantasy, science fiction, crime/detective, comedy, you are indeed correct. If you never guess and if you know, you’re probably a consulting detective and shouldn’t you be solving crimes?
Anyway, my favourite games are Dragon Age: Origins, Skyrim and the Sims (whatever version, all the sims rock). 

I like dressing up, whether it is as a fantasy character or someone from a tv show, I enjoy the hell out of it. It makes me feel cool, ok. Which is why I sometimes go to a gothic and fantasy fair, such as Castlefest and the Elf Fantasy Fair. They’re BRILLIANT.
